The brief

Blaze is a familiar face for the University of Texas at Arlington. We made the mascot into a buildable brick model, with a university banner mounted on a display base. The combination gives the figure a recognizable setting while keeping Blaze at the center.

We combined the mascot with a branded banner and display base, keeping the university identity within the model itself. Original LEGO® elements make the character a building project that can be completed by hand. The custom packaging and printed instructions carry the same project through to a finished piece for display.

A mascot can stand for shared school spirit and a sense of belonging. This model gives that familiar character a hands-on form that can be built and kept on display. Its straightforward presentation suits the role Blaze already plays as a recognizable part of the UTA community.
