The brief

Laboratory equipment carries a great deal of expertise in a form that can feel remote to anyone outside the lab. Our Revvity collection brings Hanna and OMNI into a more approachable format. We recreated the instruments as custom brick models, keeping the product at the center of the experience.

Hanna and OMNI each have a different profile, so the collection gives both room to retain their own character. The builds focus on recognizable housings, working areas and brand details, using original LEGO® elements to translate the equipment into a smaller scale. They can stand alone or be displayed together as part of the same product family.

The Hanna project was handled with BioLegend, part of Revvity, and the collection also includes the separate OMNI design. Bringing them together creates a clearer picture of the work across the brand. The models give specialist equipment a second setting on the desktop, where its identity can be appreciated through the simple act of building.
