Oblivious, an Automaton by Simon Cohen

Oblivious is a very original and sophisticated automaton, designed by a very talented american builder, Simon Cohen.

The automaton is featuring a guy on a beach reading quietly his book on a transat chair, but disturbed from time to time by some noises coming from the sea. What can it be ?

You will discover it turning the crank from this masterpiece.

Everything move within this prodigious build along the turns of your crank: the waves in the sea, the shark fin, the character on the transat chair, his torso, his arms and his head !

Simon Cohen found his inspiration in the work of other famous automaton builders, but looking at the compact mechanisms from his own build, one can say that he surpassed his masters.

Every part needed for the build, bagged, plus the designer's instructions — printed or digital depending on the kit.

How long until it ships?

Most kits are picked to order: 5-25 working days to gather parts, print and pack (longer when the kit has to be assembled by hand), plus shipping time. Kits marked "Ready to ship" go out faster.

Do you use original LEGO® parts?

Only. From quality to ethics, no other brand gives the same result — we use 100% original elements.

Does the designer get paid?

Yes — at least 10% of the sale price goes to the designer of the MOC, on every kit sold.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, worldwide. Parts are separated in bags and boxed so nothing shifts or gets wet in transit.
