The Train Station consists of around 12600 parts if choose the variant with the glass canopy and 11000 if you choose the one without it. It uses 5 32x32 base plates and the tower is 68 cm high, so it measures approximately 77 x 51 x 68 cm. It's devided in several sub-models according to the buildings floors. The building is only recommended for very experienced builders.
The scale and style of the building fits and is compatible to the LEGO modular building, as seen in the fourth image and is compatible with regular LEGO/LEGO City trains.
The idea behind the building is similar to many historic train stations usually found in Europe:
Those train stations often consist of a main building/hall, often build in the late 19th, early 20th century in the Art Nouveau style, with a more modern steal/glass canopy often added to them later in the mid 20th century. This creates an interesting mixture of styles which I wanted to capture with this build.
Therefor, the design allows for some variations: You can chose the color of the build and whether you want it with or without canopy. Please note that your choice of color affects the price.
In the main hall, the train station has toilets for both genders, timetables, a book/magazin store, two ticket counters and a vending machine. Outside are two platforms with several benches on the ground floor. The tracks are secured by barriers and can lead into the building either through rolling gates on the front and/or on the back, so you can implement it into your city as terminal- or regular drive- through station.
The platforms can be accessed from the main hall and a high passage with spiral staircases. On the upper floor there's a restaurant/ lounge with kitchen, a small police station with a surveillance room and detainment cell, a staircase up to the tower and the high passage with two small turrets.
