The brief

A familiar laboratory product can be a strong starting point for a brand campaign. For Starlab, we turned the TipOne rack into a building kit that puts something from the laboratory bench into a new context. The company used ten kits as prizes in a promotion linked to its TipOne recycling program. The product became an invitation to take part in the story around it.

We used 205 original LEGO® elements to create a model that laboratory users can connect with through their everyday work. Building the rack gives that familiar object a different kind of attention. The kit offers a playful way into a conversation about the products people use and what happens to them afterward.

Branded packaging and a printed booklet complete the kit. An initial order for 250 was followed by another 500, bringing the project to 750 kits across the two orders. Alongside the prize draw, Starlab incorporated the model into its sustainability activities, linking a hands-on brand experience with a subject already central to the campaign.
