The brief

SEECO, the Southern Electrical Equipment Company, has made switches for the electrical utility industry since 1920. Since 2024 they have ordered one of their own switches in brick form every year, a different model each time.

The 2024 kit was a single phase of a 3-way phase-over-phase switch, 172 pieces, with the insulators, the operating arms and a white base with the SEECO sign. We made 150 of them. For 2025 we built a motor operated single phase vertical airbreak switch in 186 pieces, with its control box on a tan base, and made 250. Each box says which edition it is.

The 2026 kit is in production now: a one-way switch on its pole, shown in its surroundings, with a more striking base and more detail than last time.
