The brief

ROSEN provides in-line inspection services for pipelines, using EMAT technology to detect cracks. We made the EMAT-C tool into a buildable product model, giving a specialized inspection instrument a tangible form people can explore. The long cylindrical design brings the tool’s purpose into view as a single, recognizable object.

Blue end sections, red accents, and repeated bands define its profile. We shaped the model around the extended inspection body and added supports to hold it securely for display. The assembly brings the instrument together section by section, making the form of pipeline inspection technology easier to grasp.

A custom box and printed instructions make the kit ready to build and keep. The instructions guide the assembly through to the completed EMAT-C model, and the box presents it as a ROSEN product. Finished, it gives the inspection tool a place on a desk or display shelf and a physical starting point for conversation.
