The brief

A customer story has more presence when there is something tangible to gather around. Oracle’s NetJets project gave us the opportunity to turn a business relationship into a large aircraft model for a customer presentation. The plane brings the aviation business into the room and gives the conversation a physical focus. It connects Oracle’s technology story to the world of its customer.

We designed the display model from 2,905 original LEGO® elements, combining NetJets and Oracle branding in one piece. At this scale, the aircraft works as a centerpiece for the presentation and a shared point of interest for the people taking part. The display stand keeps the model ready for use on a table throughout the event.

The completed plane took its place beside the speaker and with the group at the customer event. It is a direct example of how a display model can support the occasion around it. One commissioned piece can carry a specific customer story, with the brands involved represented together in a form people can see up close.
