Lumafield Neptune Industrial CT Scanner Kit

Lumafield’s Neptune scanner has a very clean, all-black look, so the challenge was to make the model feel simple without losing the details that make the machine recognizable.

We built the kit around the main shape of the scanner: the large cabinet, the front door, the viewing area, the side control panel and the wheeled base. Inside the scan chamber, we added a small part being inspected, so the model doesn’t just show the outside of the machine — it gives a hint of what the real scanner does.

The printed control screen became one of the most important details. It shows the scan interface and helps explain the product at a glance. We also included the handle, status lights, emergency stop button and Lumafield branding on the front.

At 242 pieces, the kit stays compact, but it still feels like a proper piece of technical equipment. It works especially well for people who already know the product, because the little details make it feel specific to Neptune rather than just a generic industrial machine.
