The brief

What the client asked for, and the constraint that shaped the model.

DPR wanted a way to celebrate Waterline in a format people could actually build and keep.

For this project, we created two versions of the tower. The smaller kit was designed as a giveaway, with custom DPR packaging and a compact version of the building. The larger version was made for display, standing over 3 feet tall and showing much more of the tower’s shape, height and architectural detail.

Both models were based on the same building, but they had different jobs. The smaller kit made the project easy to share with a wider audience. The larger display model gave DPR something more impressive to show in person.

Together, the two versions helped turn Waterline into more than a rendering or a construction milestone. It became something people could hold, build, display and remember.
