Calibre Colorado State Capitol Annex Kit

Calibre Engineering works across civil and structural engineering, shaping infrastructure and buildings for communities and clients. The Colorado State Capitol Annex gave this client-gift project a strong local reference: a familiar public building presented through a small, buildable model.

The pale facade, tall window bands and landscaped base carry the Annex’s distinctive profile into a desk-sized display. Calibre’s Colorado identity appears alongside the landmark, connecting the model to the firm’s home state. A custom box and printed instruction booklet make the experience feel complete from opening the gift through finishing the build.

The model offered Calibre a way to share a recognizable piece of Colorado with clients, while giving recipients an engaging activity and a keepsake to display. The relationship continued: in 2026, Calibre returned to commission new designs for client gifts. That repeat work speaks to the value of turning a client connection into something people can build and keep.
