The brief

A container ship puts Seaspan's business into a single, recognizable form. We turned that subject into a compact construction kit, using original LEGO® elements to bring the scale of commercial shipping down to something that fits on a desk. The vessel gives the project a direct connection to what the company does.

The ship's profile and container deck carry that story through the build. Branded details connect the finished model to Seaspan, while the overall composition keeps the vessel readable as one object. Assembling it offers time to engage with a familiar part of the maritime world at a much more approachable scale.

A printed box and instruction booklet make the vessel the focus of the complete kit. The experience starts with a shipping company and ends with a ship the builder has put together personally. Once assembled, it can serve as a small maritime landmark on a shelf, keeping the company's core business in view without needing a long explanation.
