The brief

Security hardware usually lives out of sight, inside a rack. This project gives the Palo Alto Networks PA-3420 a place on the desktop, where the product itself becomes the focus. We translated the firewall into a custom brick model that keeps its identity visible at a much smaller scale.

The front panel does most of the storytelling. Its layout, connection points and branding distinguish this build from a generic piece of network equipment. We used original LEGO® elements to recreate the appliance's low profile and clear horizontal shape, giving familiar hardware a format people can assemble themselves.

The appeal comes from recognition: someone who knows the product can spot it immediately, while someone meeting the brand has a concrete object to explore. That makes the model a natural starting point for a conversation about the equipment. The finished build keeps attention on Palo Alto Networks and its product, with a compact footprint that makes it easy to keep in view.
