The brief

Warehouse automation depends on equipment working together in a limited space. For Amazon Robotics, we turned Cardinal into a compact model of a robotic station, bringing the system’s structure down to a scale people can examine closely. Its recognizable arm and conveyor areas make the subject clear at a glance, while the small footprint keeps the entire scene in view.

We built the station with original LEGO® elements, arranging the working zones and robotic equipment as one connected scene. The model captures the movement suggested by an automated workspace without needing the full warehouse around it. A closer look reveals how the different parts relate to one another, turning a technical system into something concrete that can be assembled and explored.

A custom box and instruction booklet give the Cardinal build a complete presentation, while printed elements add definition to the model. These details help connect the finished object to the Amazon Robotics name and give the building experience its own identity. On a desk or display shelf, Cardinal offers a tangible way to bring warehouse robotics into view and make a complex subject easier to talk about.
