The SU-47 Berkut is a Russian fighter jet prototype built in the 90s. It was developed around testing a forward swept wing concept, as well as creating composite materials required to handle the extreme forces exerted on the wings during high speed maneuvers. This jet was nearly combat ready until the project ended. With an internal weapons bay similar to the F-22 Raptor. The project was cancelled however, and the plane hasn't flown since 2007.
Built at minifig scale, this model includes retractable landing gear, a removable ejector seat, a detailed cockpit, posable control surfaces, and a weapons bay with working doors and weapons inside. It measures 47.6cm(18.8") by 68.9cm(27.1") by 15.3cm(6") and weighs about 1.5 kilograms(3.3lbs). The plane has 2208 pieces and the stand has 611, making a total piece count of 2819.
I hope you enjoy the build!
