Pick and Slide is the third LEGO Great Ball Contraption module from the GBC Power Loop series.
This beautiful GBC module is tailored to run in closed loop with one or two balls.
The main mechanism from this stunning marble run machine is inspired from the Stamp module designed by Takanori Hashimoto.
GBC balls are grabbed by an articulated arm ended with a fork. Your favorite balls are then carried to the top of the module, from which an axle, perfectly synchronized with the articulated arm movements, is disengaging them from the fork.
Balls are then sliding back down to the top of a trophy part, used here in a very unexpected but smart way, as a launch ramp.
As with all the other ball machines from the GBC.PL series, this LEGO GBC mini-loop can be powered by a simple crank or motorized easily.
It can also be reproduced now thanks to ready-to-build LEGO kits available on BuildaMOC.
