The Octopus is a fast exciting ride that not only gives a see-saw motion, as the arm rises and fall, but a wildly spinning sensation as the car rotates quickly. The Octopus utilises a contra-rotating centre crank pin that pulls the 8 arms up and down in sequence.
The Octopus ride originally dates from 1936. It was popular in the UK in the 50's and 60's. It waned in popularity during the late 1970s.
The cars have fold down front like the real ride to allow for easy boarding.
The lorry features 4 wheel steering and the ride comes aaprt and can be loaded ont to the lorry as per the real thing.
