Geneva Drive, a LEGO GBC (Great Ball Contraption), by Takanori Hashimoto
Here comes a real masterpiece! The Geneva Drive GBC module from Takanori Hashimoto is a fantastic LEGO Great Ball Contraption (LEGO GBC).
The big six-arms wheel sitting at the middle of the building is moved thanks to a tinier yellow wheel located underneath. The continuous rotational movement of the yellow wheel is transformed into a jerky rotation for the big wheel.
Your favorite basket and soccer GBC balls, after a nice ride on a Ferris wheel, are going through a rotating journey inside one of the colorful buckets present at the end of each arm. Another smart mechanism, dancing in perfect sync with the yellow wheel, is expelling the balls to the destination ramp. This GBC module is definitely a must-build in your collection.
Takanori Hashimoto, designer from this GBC module, and Polo, from Planet GBC website, have jointed forces to propose building instructions to people aiming to reproduce this amazing LEGO Great Ball Contraption. We hope you will like it.
