Das Modell Linac wurde von Connor Brennan als Teenager in Adelaide, Südaustralien, entworfen. Eine seiner Motivationen für das Projekt war, dass er 2018 miterlebte, wie seine Großmutter wegen Kopf- und Halskrebs behandelt wurde.

Ziel des Projekts ist es, ein Modell zur Aufklärung über den Behandlungsablauf bereitzustellen, in der Hoffnung, dass es dazu beitragen kann, die Angst der Patienten vor der Behandlung zu lindern, insbesondere bei jüngeren Patienten.

Das Set enthält alle Teile und Anleitungen zum Bau eines Linac sowie eine Arzt-Minifigur und eine Patienten-Minifigur.

  • Some of our MOCs are not ready packed, they are picked & packed after purchase. Please allow 5-25 working days for us to send your MOC, depending on whether the kit has to be assembled by hand.

What exactly is in a BuildaMOC kit?

Every part needed for the build, bagged, plus the designer's instructions — printed or digital depending on the kit.

How long until it ships?

Most kits are picked to order: 5-25 working days to gather parts, print and pack (longer when the kit has to be assembled by hand), plus shipping time. Kits marked "Ready to ship" go out faster.

Do you use original LEGO® parts?

Does the designer get paid?

Yes — at least 10% of the sale price goes to the designer of the MOC, on every kit sold.

Yes, worldwide. Parts are separated in bags and boxed so nothing shifts or gets wet in transit.
