"What needs to be proved today is that as long as man has a car, he can do anything and go anywhere. Is there anyone who will undertake to travel this summer from Peking to Paris by automobile?" - Le Matin 31 January 1907
The race started from the French embassy in Peking on 10 June 1907. The winner, Prince Scipione Borghese, arrived in Paris on 10 August 1907. Peking to Paris - Wikipedia
Dedicated to the brave and fearless drivers and navigators who have pitted themselves and their machines against the unrelenting forces of nature in the spirit of adventure and endurance since the dawn of the motor car.
Powered by two XL-Motors and geared to 1:5, the Grand Tourer has very good speed and is capable of running outdoors on fine gravel surfaces.
The Grand Tourer uses simulated leaf spring suspension, which is quite firm, giving the model about 5mm of travel and allowing slight body roll.
The V12 engine has been detailed, but it is advised taking the detailing off when operating, especially at high speeds.
